Capella, 1) röm. Schriftsteller, s. Martianus. 2) Galeazzo Flavio Capra, auch nur Galeazzo genannt, ausgezeichneter Schriftsteller und Staatsmann, geb. 7. Mai 1487 in Mailand, gest. 23. Febr. 1537, war Minister und diplomatischer Agent Franz Sforzas. Er schrieb: »De rebus nuper in Italia gestis et de bello Mediolanensi pro restitutione Francisci Sfortiae II. ab anno 1521 usque ad ann um 1530« (Vened. 1532 u. ö.; ital. von Fr. Philippopoli, das. 1539), fortgesetzt in dem »Liber de bello Mussiano« (zuerst in Puteanis »Historia Cisalpina«); ferner »Viennae Austriae a Sultano Solimano obsessae historia« (Augsb. 1530). Italienisch schrieb er: »L'Antropologia« (Vened. 1531 u. 1539).
